A wellness-boosting Onsen in Isawa that soothes everything from neuralgia to frozen shoulder.
We visited as three generations with children aged 0 and 2.They kindly lent us a baby carrycot and a bottle sterilizing case free of charge (we asked the front desk to heat it in the microwave), which was a great help.The Room, bath, and restaurant were all clean, spacious, and very relaxing. We also appreciated having samue instead of yukata. They even prepared a yukata for our 2-year-old; it fit perfectly and looked adorable. It was a wonderful family trip.

Given the size, I felt it was a shame that the toilet and bathtub weren’t separated—even if the Room were slightly smaller, it would feel more upscale.Since dinner wasn’t included, I took a walk around the nearby Onsen town and tried to go to a restaurant, but I was turned away because I didn’t have a Reservation and ended up choosing a different place than my first choice. If you plan to eat nearby, I recommend making a Reservation in advance.The Onsen had an abundant flow of water and felt amazing. I often take Onsen trips, and I’d be happy to come back again.
