Enjoy the seasonal charm, hidden hot springs, and local flavors of Okutone.

A hotel surrounded by the mountains of Okutone, offering a close connection to nature. Enjoy different seasonal activities: wild vegetable picking in spring, camping and firefly watching in summer, autumn foliage viewing in fall, and skiing in winter. The Onsen features the hidden gem "Okutone Onsen" of Minakami Onsenkyo. Guests can enjoy three types of baths: the indoor public bath, 11 private open-air baths unique to our hotel, and a large open-air bath on a scenic hilltop (available during the green season). Meals include the Okutone Deep Mountain Kaiseki cuisine, featuring seasonal menus with local ingredients.

  • Thank you for taking care of us on our family ski trip. This was our fourth stay.It was our first time in a Room without a bath, but the sink was large and very convenient to use. The food is always delicious. Since this time was spring skiing, the menu changed with the season, including a dish made with rapeseed blossoms, so no matter how many times we stay in the same season, we never get tired of it and always leave happily full. The ski resort is right in front of the Hotel, and there is also a free Shuttle Service to Jomo-Kogen Station, which is greatly appreciated when traveling with children. All staff members are cheerful and very kind. The open-air bath can be cold in winter, so we recommend washing up and warming up slowly in the large public bath first, then using it to enjoy a snowy-view bath!

  • We stayed for one night and two days. The ski resort has three lifts, which may not be many, but the difficulty level is not too high, making it suitable for first-timers or beginners. I had two children skiing for the first time, and I found the course difficulty and size to be just right. However, please note that the ski school may reserve certain areas on specific days (in our case, it was reserved in the morning and open in the afternoon), so it's better to check in advance. The Hotel is conveniently located right in front of the slopes. Amenities such as yukata are fully provided. The private open-air bath was also excellent. What surprised us most was the variety of dishes served at dinner—featuring Joshu beef sukiyaki or shabu-shabu along with Gunma's local cuisine—it was a very satisfying meal. One thing worth mentioning is that there are limited places to have lunch and fewer menu options available during lunchtime. Thank you for taking care of us over these two days!
