Famous for Japan's earliest sunrise, Inubosaki offers a view of a round horizon. The Inubosaki Hotel is located on this elevated area. Enjoy a relaxing time in front of the white Inubosaki Lighthouse, beautiful scenery, and the blessings of the natural Onsen [fossil seawater] source.
I arrived earlier than expected, but they kindly allowed me to check in early, which was very helpful. They also have free-flowing hot spring water, and the bathing facilities were excellent. Dinner featured plenty of seafood. Breakfast was a buffet with a wide variety of options, and I really enjoyed it. I would like to stay here again if I have the chance.
Yahoo!トラベルユー... 2/12/2026Unfortunately, it was drizzling at Inubosaki. I was hoping to see a beautiful sunrise, but I couldn’t. You can see the ocean from the Room, and the Inubosaki Lighthouse is right nearby. When I asked to change from a connecting two-Room layout to a twin Room, they kindly accommodated my request. The Room was thoroughly cleaned and felt very comfortable.The staff at the front desk and in the dining area were also very helpful and friendly.The water quality at Inubosaki Onsen has a salty mineral content and warmed me up nicely. The indoor bath felt like plain hot water, so I wished it had been supplied with Onsen water as well. Because the wind was strong, we couldn’t fully enjoy it.As expected of Choshi, every dish was delicious. The staff were pleasant too. The breakfast buffet had plenty of seafood and was very satisfying.On the way there we enjoyed the streets of Sawara, and on the way back we toured the Yamasa Soy Sauce factory and visited Katori Shrine.
