  • I stayed here as a solo traveler.

    The view from the Room was beautiful—we could see the ocean, and both the sunrise and sunset were amazing.Although the building itself felt historic, the Room was very clean and well maintained.Since it was an Onsen, we used the bath many times, and it was relaxing and enjoyable to chat with regular guests as well.It was great that the hair dryer in the bath area was a ReFa, but some older guests seemed unsure how to use it, so I thought it would be helpful to have simple instructions posted (I struggled a bit the first time too).The nighttime planetarium was a small space, but it felt like stepping into another world for a short while. The staff member who explained everything was very thorough, and after hearing all kinds of stories, I found myself wanting binoculars.The stars we saw from the rooftop observation deck were stunning—before the planetarium I was simply impressed by their beauty, and after it I enjoyed recognizing them as stars we had just learned about.I felt truly refreshed and would love to visit again.Thank you very much.

  • Located near the sea...

    Located near the sea, with an Onsen and indoor tennis courts, we have stayed here several times. This time we chose a breakfast-only Plan, but the buffet offers a wide variety of dishes. I especially like the clam rice porridge and have it every time. The Japanese seafood dishes and the Western-style bread are also delicious, and we were very satisfied. I apologize for the inconvenience caused by something I left behind last time; I truly appreciated that you kept it for me until this visit. The samue loungewear was already in the Room as well. After playing tennis, we were able to enjoy the Onsen too—it was a very satisfying trip.

    Ichinomiya Beach (Ichinomiya Swimming Beach) on Kujukuri Beach in Chiba Prefecture is known for its exceptionally clear water and has been selected as one of Japan’s “100 Best Beaches.” The gently sloping shoreline stretches about 350 meters, with soft sand and excellent visibility. A free life jacket rental service for children is also available. During the swimming season, events such as beach seine fishing and a fireworks festival are held, making it fun for the whole family. With great waves—like nearby Tsurigasaki Beach in Ichinomiya Town, which was chosen as the surfing venue for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics—the area is also popular for surfing and other marine activities.
    *Surfing is not permitted in the designated swimming area during the official swimming season.
