At Kii Misou, the gateway to Mount Koya, enjoy a relaxing moment surrounded by natural greenery and the scent of history.
This time, I learned about Kiimiso through an event and stayed for the Onsen, relaxation, and great food. The charming building with a sense of history, the quiet surroundings, and the dinner—far better than expected—were all wonderful. Well-known alcoholic drinks were also available with unlimited refills. The quality of the Onsen was excellent—you can tell right away when you wash your face—and it has a pleasant Onsen scent that leaves your skin feeling moisturized. Breakfast was satisfying as well. For such a reasonable price, the quality was outstanding, and my companion was very happy too. I’d definitely like to visit again in a different season.

I made a Reservation mainly for the meals and the Onsen, but I was very satisfied—the welcome roasted sweet potatoes were a nice touch, and the Western-style Room was clean. I also appreciated the free bedding loan service. Soft drinks are available 24 hours with unlimited refills. At check-out, it might be better to have someone see guests off.

From Osaka: Take the Hanna Road - Mihara JCT - Minami-Hanna Road - Exit at Habikino IC - Head south on Route 170 - Turn left at the Uehara-cho intersection (Kawachinagano City) - Take Route 371 - Pass through the Kimi Tunnel into Hashimoto City, go past the traffic light, and turn right at the Shell gas station signal (Koyo-dai Minami). Follow the road uphill, then downhill, and you will find the destination on the right side (approximately 50 minutes, about 22 km from Habikino IC).
From Wakayama: Head north from the Ichiwaki intersection on Route 24 - Take Route 371 - At the intersection with McDonald's (Keiganobashi East), turn left at the third traffic light (Koyo-dai Minami) at the Shell gas station. Follow the road uphill, then downhill, and you will find the destination on the right side (approximately 20 minutes, about 10 km from the Tarui-Higashi intersection).
