Fruit Mountain Azumaya

After check-in, you can immediately enjoy the private bath, then relax with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks next to the lobby. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. In the morning, I enjoyed the large public bath and open-air bath on the 7th floor. After bathing, you can unwind in a massage chair at no extra charge and feel truly relaxed. I would like to stay here again on my next trip to Yamagata.

The Room was very clean, and the Onsen was great.The service was also courteous.In addition, the manga selection was excellent, and I was able to relax and enjoy it between Onsen sessions.I stay in a small Ryokan with an in-room Onsen once or twice a month, but my child seems to get bored and never wants to come along.At Azumaya, I felt that guests of any age could truly enjoy their stay, so we decided to return for our family trip in March.What I noticed during my stay:1) If there were always a few snacks available in the free lounge, overall satisfaction would likely be even higher.2) The open-air bath in the guest Room had bamboo blinds installed, which showed consideration for both the cold and privacy. However, winters in snowy regions are still quite cold; if there were even a simple wall with a window instead of blinds, it would be more comfortable.3) The meals were somewhat disappointing.I didn’t feel much attention to detail or craftsmanship in the dishes, and it seemed there were not many handmade items. Also, there were no separate chopsticks provided for handling raw meat, and the dining area was quite cold.The dining venue felt like a large hall for general use rather than something special; however, it may work well for larger groups.We are looking forward to visiting again in March.Thank you very much.
