Although it is a bit far from Matsue Station, Shuttle Service is available. Unfortunately, it does not operate on Mondays, so I took a taxi, but the base fare was enough. The single room I used had nothing special, but it had an air purifier and was comfortable. There is a large public bath, which helped me relax. Breakfast was not very crowded, which was nice. Yahoo!トラベルユー... 3/31/2026It was about a 15-minute walk from Matsue Station. The large Onsen bath was right in front of the 2nd floor of the Comfort Room, so it was easy to use. The Room was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of local specialties. The shijimi clam miso soup and akaten were especially good. I would like to stay again if I have the chance. The next day, I visited Matsue Castle and then took the train from Shinji-Ko Onsen Station to Izumo Taisha; it arrives right in front of the approach to the shrine, which was very convenient.
