Within the warm and inviting interiors, savor exquisite cuisine crafted by the head chef and indulge in the two renowned hot springs of Ikaho Onsen, "Golden Water" and "Silver Water." We are dedicated to ensuring your stay is comfortable and truly relaxing.

  • We stayed for one night before Obon as a trip to celebrate my mother-in-law's 88th birthday. Although it is a bit away from the stone-paved street, it was a quiet and charming accommodation. The staff were friendly and kind with warm smiles! The room was spacious, and the meals were delicious. The attentive service by the dining staff was very much appreciated. The bath included an indoor open-air option, and there were various hair dryers from different brands available to try out, which was great! Near the front desk, there were board games that everyone could enjoy together. I would love to visit again if I have the chance!

  • We stayed for a one-night trip to Ikaho Onsen as a couple. The room was a standard Japanese-style room, so there was no significant difference compared to other facilities. The reason for giving a 5-star rating is the [Delicious Small Portions] seasonal kaiseki menu with fewer dishes but satisfying variety, and all ingredients were fresh. We would love to stay here again if we visit Ikaho Onsen in the future.

Separate large public baths for men and women, fully renovated in March 2023

The baths at our facility, surrounded by the breath of nature, luxuriously use the Ikaho Onsen "Golden Water" directly from the source. Said to have been discovered 1,900 years ago, this historic Onsen is mentioned in ancient texts such as the Manyoshu and Kokin Wakashu. While originally colorless and transparent, it turns a reddish-brown hue when exposed to air due to its iron content. Even on drizzly days, you can immerse yourself in the bath with a traditional straw hat, letting the hustle and bustle of travel fade away. On March 13, 2023, our gender-separated large public baths were renovated, allowing guests to enjoy both the "Golden Water" and "Silver Water." Please also enjoy the large public bath "Tamayura," which newly opened in June 2022. Additionally, our sauna has been newly revamped and reopened as a Löyly sauna. Automatic Löyly sessions are conducted every hour at 15:00, 16:00, and 17:00 during the operating hours of 15:00 to 22:00.
