Nakaozan Onsen

The renowned Onsen Nakaozan, where even Sengoku warlords relaxed.

Located near the historic Kawanakajima battlefield, where Takeda Shingen and Uesugi Kenshin fought, it is said that the Takeda army healed their wounds at Nakaoyama Onsen. While the Onsen boasts a long history, the Onsen Facility officially opened in 1933 (Showa 8) and has been cherished as a therapeutic bath. The spring quality is a simple sulfur cold mineral spring, which warms the body to the core and provides excellent health benefits. It is also highly praised for its skin-smoothing properties, offering outstanding beauty effects. Guests can enjoy a variety of baths, including an open-air bath, a large public bath, a waterfall bath, a jacuzzi bath, and a low-temperature far-infrared sauna.
