Hotel Crown Hills Kokura, located in the bustling downtown area of Kokura, boasts an ideal location for both business and sightseeing. The two bathing facilities, the large bath "Ren" and the medium bath "Yupa," feature weak alkaline ion water infused with Binchotan charcoal, offering benefits such as skin beautification and negative ion effects. Free wireless internet (Wi-Fi) access is available in all guest Rooms, catering to various needs with options ranging from compact Rooms to Hollywood-style Rooms perfect for families. The breakfast buffet offers a nutritious menu utilizing local ingredients, with the "Iwashi no Jinda-ni" (simmered sardines) being particularly popular for its rich flavor and tender, bone-soft texture as a local specialty.
Since we drove this time, we used the parking lot next door. It costs 800 yen for 24 hours. Tanga Market is nearby, and the covered shopping arcade is also close, with many different shops. If you cross the bridge a little further ahead, you can also visit sightseeing spots around Kokura Castle. This time, we rented the Hotel’s bicycles early in the morning and went toward the port as well. The food was delicious, and we enjoyed plenty of the local specialty mentaiko. It was great to have Japanese, Western, and Chinese options from breakfast onward. The bath switches between night and morning sessions, so we could relax and enjoy it at our own pace. There are welcome drinks near the Hotel front desk, and from 8:00 p.m., you can also have ochazuke. Amenities and loungewear are available at the front desk, and you can choose three drinks to take. The Room was clean and well maintained, so we had a relaxing stay. The TV was small, but it wasn’t an issue. We would like to stay again if we have another opportunity—thank you very much.

As always, the service was excellent, the breakfast was delicious, and for this price and location, I have nothing to complain about.However, the price sometimes goes up significantly, so if the timing doesn’t work out, it can be hard to book.Parking is also available next door at Times for 800 yen per 24 hours. It’s convenient, so I’d like to stay again.
