At the Tokachigawa Onsen, known as the "back parlor" of Obihiro, you can enjoy the plant-based moor onsen in a free-flowing manner. This onsen, referred to as the "beauty bath," is rich in natural moisturizing components, leaving your skin smooth. Barrier-free rooms are recommended for families and the elderly. From the open-air bath with a direct hot spring flow, you can feel the vast nature of Tokachi. Additionally, within the property, there is a forest of giant trees where you can savor creative Japanese cuisine in a space surrounded by logs grown in the foothills of Tokachi.
We visited last year and were able to come again this year with everyone. With a 0-year-old and a 1-year-old, the large Room you prepared allowed us to relax comfortably. We were very satisfied with the bath and meals. One small disappointment was that if breakfast items that ran out had been replenished more smoothly, we could have finished eating a bit earlier. Apologies for being at the last minute. Both my mother, daughter, and grandchildren truly enjoyed their time here. We hope to come again next year in good health with everyone. Thank you very much!

Dinner offered a wide variety of dishes, all of which were delicious. There was also a kids' menu, so my 2-year-old could enjoy the meal. The futon was laid out while we were having dinner, and when we returned to the room, the balloon-patterned futon caught our eye and lifted our spirits! My 2-year-old daughter was overjoyed. Before breakfast, we rode in a hot air balloon and had an amazing experience. The onsen made my skin smooth, and trying out features like the esthetic bath for the first time was fantastic. Choosing Hotel Daiheigen for our first trip with a child turned out to be absolutely perfect. The staff at the accommodation were all very kind and made us feel happy. I definitely want to stay here again!

Moor Onsen originates from ancient times when plants accumulated over countless years, forming lignite layers, from which this unique Onsen springs. Rich in plant-based organic matter, it contains abundant natural moisturizing components, acting almost like a lotion for your skin. Additionally, it has a soap-like effect, leaving your skin smooth and soft after soaking in the water. This is why it is often called the "Beauty Bath." Experience the blessings of nature with your entire body.
Great Plains Farm and the Seasonal Flavors of Tokachi
Many of the vegetables served at our Hotel's restaurant are carefully grown on our very own Daiheigen Farm. With a focus on soil preparation and nurtured under the abundant Tokachi sun, these vegetables are low-pesticide, safe, and exceptionally flavorful. We adhere to the principle of "local production for local consumption," using ingredients sourced from Tokachi and Hokkaido. Our chefs meticulously select high-quality ingredients to create seasonal menus that highlight the best flavors.
Renovated in August 2022, this Japanese-Western style room features two single beds. For groups of three or more, futons will be provided. There is no private bath in the room.
