From our Room and open-air bath, you can enjoy the sunrise in the morning, Beppu's sea, cityscape, and steam during the day, and Beppu's night view at night, providing relaxation for both body and mind.
Get off at the Kamenoi Bus "Asahi" stop and walk for about 1 minute. Sansuikan is located in a scenic area overlooking the hot spring steam of Beppu Kannawa. It is conveniently located near the Beppu IC on the Kyushu Expressway. If you encounter any difficulties along the way, please contact Sansuikan.
Japan's highest Onsen output, the hot spring town 'Beppu'. In addition to Onsen, there are many attractive tourist destinations such as leisure activities. The Kannawa and Kamegawa hell areas have been recorded in the 'Bungo Fudoki' as places where steam, hot mud, and hot water have erupted for over a thousand years. Due to being a detested and inaccessible land, it came to be referred to as 'hell' by people.
Beppu Hachiyu consists of eight Onsen: Beppu, Hamawaki, Kankaiji, Horita, Myoban, Kannawa, Shibaseki, and Kamegawa. A unique feature of Beppu Hachiyu is its wide distribution from Beppu's city center to its outskirts. Additionally, there are approximately 400 Onsen available for bathing with an entrance fee, each offering slightly different water qualities, allowing for a diverse Onsen experience.
