Directly connected to the underground shopping arcade from Odori Station (Susukino Station) on the subway, you can visit us with ease even on rainy or snowy days. Located near Odori Park, the Clock Tower, and the TV Tower, and just a 5-minute walk to Susukino. An ideal location for both business and sightseeing. Enjoy our Hotel's proud breakfast buffet featuring a variety of Hokkaido specialties. We also provide amenities for children, baby cribs, and bed guards, ensuring a comfortable stay for families.   • It was comfortable!

    Despite being very close to Susukino, a major entertainment district, the property was very quiet inside, and the hospitality and convenience were excellent. This will be my regular Accommodation in Sapporo. It was a very pleasant stay.Just one thing: The screw on the lower holder for the bathroom shower head was loose and coming off, so I couldn’t use it. I hope it can be repaired as soon as possible.

  • It was convenient and great.

    It had been a while since my last stay due to timing, but it was as great as ever. This time, I had the chance to try breakfast for the first time. The meal was luxurious, especially the seafood; the salmon roe and grilled fish were delicious. The tempura was freshly fried and also very tasty. The room was quiet and comfortable.

The front lobby and all guest rooms will be newly renovated and reopen in December 2024.

In December 2024, the Richmond Hotel Sapporo Odori was reborn as a space filled with warmth. The renovation concept is "Popke." Popke means "warm." To let you feel this "warmth," an open space unfolds as you enter the lobby from outside. Soft, embracing colors and a wood style inspired by Hokkaido's rich natural imagery create a comforting sense of "warmth."

A new Room type has also been introduced!

Moderate Double Room A compact Room designed specifically for two guests. Space for storing suitcases is provided under the bed. Two chairs are also available to create a relaxing atmosphere. Premier Corner Double Room A new double Room inspired by Popke, a traditional Hokkaido pattern, has been introduced. Featuring the same size as the Standard Twin Room, it includes the Hotel's largest king-size bed. The L-shaped sofa enhances the layout, offering a spacious and comfortable stay. Japanese Premier Twin Room ～Popke～ A Room with tatami flooring and low beds, allowing guests to relax without shoes. The bathroom and toilet are separated in a three-point layout. This Room offers a slightly luxurious stay with exclusive furniture and amenities. Accommodates up to four adults in a spacious area. The soft-toned wood, rounded furniture, and shoji screens adorned with Ainu patterns create a space designed for ultimate relaxation.

- Take the Subway Namboku Line and get off at Odori Station (approx. 1 min)
- Take a taxi to the Hotel (within the minimum fare range)
- Walk to the Hotel (approx. 15 min)

From Odori Station (Street Level)
Walk straight south along Ekimae-dori (please use the west-side sidewalk).
Turn right at the intersection with Mizuno Megane, just before Sapporo Nanairo, and you will see the Hotel sign.
Alternatively, continue straight and enter Tanukikoji Shopping Arcade at Block 4.
About halfway down Block 4, you will find the entrance to the Hotel restaurant “MODISH.”
Enter from the MODISH-side entrance and walk through to reach the Hotel front desk.

From Odori Station (Underground)
- From the South Ticket Gate, continue further south into an underground shopping mall called Pole Town. Go straight ahead, then turn right at the sign for “Tanukikoji Blocks 4/5/6/7” to find an escalator. After exiting to street level, walk about 50 meters to see the entrance on the restaurant “MODISH” side.
