Large windows open seamlessly onto the wooden deck, where you can enjoy an exclusive view of the forest and sky with your dog. Take a stroll to the clear waters of the Nakatsu River, spend evenings listening to the gentle flow at dusk, or sip wine under a star-filled sky—an adults-only hideaway where senior couples can truly unwind in peace and privacy. About 1.5 hours by car from central Tokyo. “holohouse,” nestled in a quiet forest in Yadoriki, Matsuda Town, Ashigarakami District, Kanagawa Prefecture, is a single-story private rental limited to one group per day where you can stay with your dog. Enjoy a luxurious time surrounded by mountain ridgelines and trees, without worrying about noise or prying eyes.
The dog run, enclosed by a wooden fence and greenery, feels like your own private garden—free from outside eyes and noise. Soft natural grass lets your dog run, roll around, and sniff to their heart’s content. You can keep an eye on your pet from the terrace or through the large indoor openings while you relax with a cup of coffee. At dusk or under the stars, enjoy a truly special moment in the quiet of the forest.
Halo House is a single-story wooden home designed to blend into the satoyama landscape of Yadoriki, featuring abundant natural materials—especially Japanese cedar—throughout. The gentle scent of cedar, the soft texture of shirasu plaster walls, and the cool feel of Towada stone create a calm, soothing atmosphere. Beyond the fully opening south-facing windows lies Yadoriki’s vast natural scenery—come and experience the comfort of being surrounded by nature’s materials.

The property is divided into two main areas: a private dog run and a parking space. The dog run, spread out on the southwest side of the building, is reserved exclusively for one group per day. You can step straight into the garden from the wooden terrace, so you can relax indoors or on the terrace while your dog plays outside. The parking area accommodates two vehicles comfortably. After parking, please follow the approach path to the entrance. For your dog’s safety, please be sure to fully open and close all gates/doors at entry and exit.
FLOOR PLAN
Holohouse is a single-story, one-floor home with a simple layout that makes moving around easy. From the central dining kitchen, you can smoothly access the Japanese-style room, bedroom, and bathroom. The dining area opens through glass doors to an outdoor living terrace, creating an airy space where you can relax while enjoying the feel of the garden. Outside, there is also a pet washing station for added comfort after walks or time at the dog run.
