With scenery that changes through the seasons, a short drive offers sweeping views of Yatsugatake, the Southern Alps, Mt. Fuji, and more. The white cabin is an eco-conscious retreat designed in harmony with the environment. Inspired by honeycombs, it features a distinctive form and large windows that frame the surrounding landscape. Seasonal views through the windows—and simple touches like wildflowers in a dining-room vase—complete the space. Morning: Quietly grind coffee beans on the terrace as sunlight filters through the trees. Afternoon: Put on a seasonal music playlist and let yourself sink into sound. Evening: Toast with natural wine while listening to insects sing. Night: Enjoy cooking together, share lively conversation, and gather around a warm table. How you spend your time is entirely up to you. We hope you’ll find the stay that feels just right for you.
- In November, amidst the peak of autumn foliage, we enjoyed an exceptional time surrounded by nature.
This accommodation is highly recommended for a multiple night stay. One night is simply not enough. There are plenty of experiences to enjoy, such as cooking in a fully equipped kitchen, gathering herbs on the property, watching movies with a projector, reading books available in the room, grinding and brewing your own coffee beans, and sitting by the campfire. During this visit, I stayed for one night and felt reluctant to leave. I promised my friends that we would definitely come back again. The open space with high ceilings and large windows was incredibly pleasant. Next time, I plan to stay longer to enjoy drawing, knitting, reading books, relaxing in the sauna, or taking walks.This is the perfect place to escape from the busyness of city life and take time to reconnect with yourself—highly recommended!

The high ceilings and the sense of openness, along with the morning light streaming through the large windows, made waking up truly refreshing. The kitchen and bathroom were efficient and easy to use, with everything impeccably clean and thoughtfully arranged. The sauna is a barrel sauna with a comfortable temperature even for those who are not fond of excessive heat. Its design ensures privacy while allowing you to fully enjoy the sense of freedom in nature. Surrounded by nothing but tranquility, it provided an escape from the usual hustle and bustle of city life. I would love to visit SANU again when I need to recharge my spirit.
