Adventures Lodge Yachimata Koyaruzawa

We stayed in a Deluxe Suite to celebrate our eldest son being accepted to his preferred high school. As a family of five, having a large Room was wonderful. On the way to the lodge, the mountain road had us wondering, “Is this really the right way?” more than once, but once we arrived, it opened up into a spacious area and was great.Since it has only just opened, everything inside was very clean and beautiful. The staff were also courteous and excellent. For bathing, we recommend Mori-no-Yu, about one minute away by car. We received tickets at check-in (it’s best to confirm details about Mori-no-Yu tickets when making your Reservation). The open-air baths were the highlight and were fantastic. In summer, walking there from the lodge also sounds nice.We had dinner in the dining room, and they even prepared a congratulatory plate for our celebration—our son looked truly happy. Thank you very much. The dinner was flawless, and our whole family was extremely satisfied. Our daughter (close in age) will be taking her high school entrance exams this year as well, and she said seriously that if she passes too, she wants us to bring her back here next year—that’s how delicious it must have been.We also had breakfast in the same dining room. It was a one-plate set plus sausages and thick-cut bacon—an impressive amount of food. We couldn’t believe everyone finished it, and everything tasted great; again, everyone was very satisfied.Because it’s a new Accommodation, everything everywhere was spotless and very comfortable. My wife kept worrying that with how stylish both the Room and exterior are—with lots of indirect lighting and latticework—cleaning must be difficult; she also wondered if some amenities might get stolen since only carefully selected items are provided. It’s unnecessary worry on her part—but I think it reflects how much she wants to come back again someday and hopes the staff will keep up their hard work so we can feel the same excitement on our next visit. We could really sense that Kotaryusawa is still evolving even further from here onward. We’re looking forward to visiting again next year—and it’s an Accommodation we’d love to visit in summer as well.Thank you so much to all of your staff members.

It had a wonderful atmosphere that felt like being abroad!We chose the plan with breakfast and dinner included.Both meals were delicious, and we were very satisfied.We couldn’t do the aerial adventure or canoeing on the day, but we did them the next morning and had a great time. It was a shame we couldn’t join the workshop—it seems you need to make a Reservation in advance.The nearby Morinoyu hot spring was also great.The pool looked fantastic, so we’d love to come back during summer vacation.
