  • The staff were extremely kind and helpful whenever we needed assistance (such as giving us a tour of the facilities and lending us tools to clear snow from our car). At dinner, the timing of each course being served in order was excellent—they seemed to watch our pace as we enjoyed drinks and ate slowly. I was impressed by their professional attentiveness.

  • The Ryokan had a nostalgic atmosphere, and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I also appreciated the opportunity to compare sweet and dry sake, and the food was absolutely delicious.

[Important] Notice and Apology: Outdoor Bath Temporarily Unavailable

We have discovered a malfunction in the temperature control equipment of the outdoor bath attached to our large public bath.
As we are currently unable to ensure a safe and comfortable bathing temperature, the outdoor bath will be temporarily unavailable during the period below.

    ■ Outdoor Bath Closure Period
Scheduled: Tuesday, April 14, 2026 to Tuesday, April 21, 2026
*We will post an update on our official website as soon as service is restored.

Please note that the indoor bath (large public bath) remains available as usual.

We will work diligently to restore it as quickly as possible and appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

  • [Important] Notice of Service Renewal in June 2026

For a Deeper, More Kaike Fuga–Style Stay

Thank you very much for your continued patronage of Kaike Fuga.
To help you enjoy even more deeply the experience we cherish—“time to surrender yourself to what has been lovingly preserved over many years”—we will be renewing part of our services starting June 1, 2026.

    ■ Introducing New Stay Experiences
    1) A New Lounge Experience: “KAIKE NEW RETRO—Tonight’s Drink”
Enjoy a tasting service featuring local sake inspired by Japan’s Showa-era “kakuuchi” standing-bar culture.
We also propose new ways to enjoy your drinks beyond simply drinking—such as bar cocktails and pairings with kaiseki cuisine.

    2) In-Room Dining Plan with Mini Bar (New)
Exclusive to in-room dining Plans, alcoholic beverages and soft drinks will be prepared in your Room refrigerator.
Enjoy an all-inclusive stay with drinks (mini bar) included.

    3) Onsen Hopping with Our Sister Property (New)
Available exclusively to guests on meal-included Plans: access to the large public bath and sauna at our sister property, “Yukibo Hakusen.”
Experience the charm of Kaike Onsen more deeply through two distinct Onsen Accommodations, each with its own atmosphere.

    4) Morning Herbal Tea Bar (New)
Start your day by restoring balance with herbal teas selected to suit your condition.

  • [Important] Notice: End of Dinner All-You-Can-Drink Service

To provide you with an even higher-quality stay,
our all-you-can-drink dinner beverage service will end on May 31, 2026.

We will change from the current self-service style—where guests pick up drinks at the counter during dinner—to a paid, made-to-order system where you can order from your table.

With this change, we will offer:
・A wider selection of beverages unique to Tottori
・Recommendations such as local sake that pairs well with your meal
・A more relaxed dining experience in a Japanese-style setting
and more—so you can enjoy Kaike’s blessings even more than before.

Starting with check-ins on June 1, 2026, we will switch to the paid made-to-order system.
(For guests who have made a Reservation by 12:00 on April 15, 2026,
even if staying on or after June 1, 2026, we will honor the previous plan including “all-you-can-drink beverages at dinner.”)
