ICHIFUJI RYOKAN has been newly renamed and relocated for a fresh start. An Onsen accommodation featuring natural hot spring baths and private open-air baths. Enjoy special moments with your loved ones in a private dining room. Relax completely with the excellent hot springs of Hitoyoshi, surrounded by breathtaking nature and scenery.
Each Room was in a detached style, meals were served in a private dining room, and every Room had an open-air bath—an Accommodation that offered excellent privacy. We stayed in a Japanese-Western style Room with a stone open-air bath as three guests (my sister and us as a couple). The tatami room had futons and sliding doors, and the Western-style room with two beds also had its own door; both could be separated from the living area. The cuisine was a creative kaiseki course featuring plenty of local Hitoyoshi ingredients, and we were satisfied with both the quality and quantity. We were truly impressed by the effort to beautifully rebuild in another location after the damage from the Kumamoto heavy rains.
