  • This is my favorite Hotel.

    This was my second stay, and I truly love both the Onsen and the meals. For a pet-friendly Hotel, I don’t think there is another Hotel with service this good. Check-in and mealtimes can get crowded, but it’s still a Hotel that makes me want to come back. Next time, I’d like to visit in a different season. Thank you for your hospitality.

  • We had a relaxing stay.

    With an 11:00 a.m. check-out, we were able to relax and take our time. The food was delicious and offered a wide variety; the foie gras burger, also available at other Hotels in the same group, is outstanding. It’s also appealing that you can unwind in the Hotel and enjoy drinks with no additional charge. They responded quickly to a sudden change in the number of guests, which was very helpful. We would love to visit again.

An upscale hotel suitable for both business and leisure. Grand Mercure South Boso Resort & Spa is located at Cape Taibusa within the South Boso National Park. The rich nature of the sea and forest welcomes guests. Cape Taibusa has been used as a capital defense fortress since the arrival of the Black Ships, and as such, this area, despite its proximity to the metropolitan area, is blessed with untouched nature.

The all-inclusive package includes dinner, breakfast, drinks and snacks in the lounge, access to the large public bath, and various activities. Enjoy your stay to the fullest from check-in to check-out. *Please note that some drinks and activities are available for an additional fee. Lunch is not provided.

    Enjoy the open-air outdoor pool and soak up the refreshing atmosphere!!

    In 2026, the pool will be available until September 23.

    Operating period: July 18, 2026 (Sat) – September 23, 2026 (Wed)
    Hours: 9:00–17:00 *There is a 10-minute break once every hour.
    Reservation & fees: No Reservation required. Pool access is included in your accommodation rate.
    Eligibility: Available to all guests.

    *Day-use is not available.
    *You may use the pool before check-in and after check-out.
    *Children who are not yet toilet-trained must wear swim diapers.
    *Children of elementary school age or younger must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
    *Operations may be suspended due to weather conditions.


    Heavy congestion is expected around 15:00 during check-in procedures.
    We will do our best to assist you as smoothly as possible, and we appreciate your understanding.
