THE ACONCAGUA RESORTS is located on a hill overlooking the Tateno Gorge, where the Kurokawa River flowing through Aso Valley and the Shirakawa River flowing through Nango Valley converge. Spanning an expansive 18,000 square meters, the resort offers various activities to fully enjoy South Aso, including a campsite and private hot spring baths.
The Room, the views, the private bath, the in-room open-air bath, dinner, and the staff’s service—everything was attentive and we were completely satisfied. The comfort of the Room and the luxurious panoramic views of Aso—whether leaning back against the headboard or soaking in the open-air bath—were truly special. The private bath was also impressively well equipped, unlike anything we’ve seen at other Accommodations. We always look forward to a club lounge as part of our stay, but compared with how excellent everything else was, it may have felt a little underwhelming. Even though we had been snacking in the lounge beforehand, dinner still whetted our appetite with its careful preparation and beautiful presentation, and we enjoyed every dish to the very end. It was one of the top three most comfortable Accommodations we’ve ever stayed at. We’d love to visit again.
wasabin 3/26/2026We stayed at the accommodation during a family trip. Since we couldn't predict our arrival time, we planned for a no meals included stay and intended to have dinner nearby. In the afternoon, we received a call from the hotel. They kindly suggested preparing à la carte meals as there were no dining options nearby and even arranged it as room service so we could relax upon arrival. When we inquired about horseback riding for the next day's plans, they promptly made a reservation at a riding club for us. The facilities were excellent, and it was an accommodation filled with hospitality that truly catered to its guests.

Six private baths available by Complete Reservation, along with a large public bath featuring an open-air bath and a rock bath. Enjoy the seasonal views of trees from the baths.
