In July 2015, the long-established Ryokan Kamogawa-kan in Minamiboso opened the adjacent DOG RYOKAN. The Property features five Rooms, each over 60 square meters. Every Room is equipped with a stylish private garden where your beloved dog can play, and you can enjoy a blissful moment soaking in an Onsen open-air air bubble bath while admiring the view. The name "Dog Sabatory" refers to the semi-outdoor space connecting the garden and the interior. This utility space can be used as an indoor or outdoor dining area to enjoy meals or as a spacious Room for your dog when heading out. Dinner is offered separately from the stay, allowing for a more flexible and carefree experience. You can choose your preferred dinner style as an optional add-on. Here, you will find a new DOG RYOKAN style where you can relax with your beloved dog.
Until now, we often traveled with our children and stayed in a private rental Accommodation, enjoying BBQs and cooking for ourselves. This time, however, we stayed without the kids—just the two of us and our senior dog—for 2 nights and 3 days starting on 2/11. Every Room Service dish was delicious, and we were able to enjoy our meals at a relaxed pace. The Room was comfortable, and we felt completely at ease staying with our dog—we were very satisfied. Most of all, what left the strongest impression was the thoughtfulness and excellent service from all the staff. Their attentive care and polished hospitality made it clear that training and service standards are consistently well maintained. Thanks to you, we had a truly pleasant stay. We were a little worried because our dog is elderly, but he was able to relax throughout the stay, making it a wonderful memory for our family. Thank you for such a lovely time and lasting memories. If we have another opportunity, we would love to stay again.

All Rooms are spacious with over 60 square meters. There are 5 Rooms equipped with private gardens for relaxation and enjoyment with your beloved dog. The flooring inside the Rooms is made of a special material friendly to dogs, maintaining the Japanese modern ambiance of the Ryokan.
When making a reservation, you are required to agree to the "Go-Yutei Pet Accompanied Property Regulations," which include training, vaccinations, and guidelines during your stay.

All rooms are equipped with an open-air air-blow bath featuring the renowned Kamogawa Onsen 'Shiosai no Yu', praised for its ability to warm the body thoroughly. Enjoy a blissful moment soaking in the Onsen while watching your beloved dog play in the private garden.
Aiming for a free and relaxed resort style, dinner is offered as an optional (paid) service under the "separate accommodation and dining" concept. For those who wish to enjoy time with their beloved dogs, ordering "room service" is an option. You can also dine at the private restaurant "Yoshidaya" or the live chef dining "MAIWAI" at the adjacent Kamogawa-kan. Enjoy according to your mood, including going out.
