Hotel Tsuga no Ki at Kinugawa Onsen is a small property nestled in nature, away from the hustle and bustle of the Kinugawa Onsen town. With a warm atmosphere reminiscent of a countryside home, delicious cuisine, and well-equipped onsen facilities, we welcome our guests.
The meals, the Room’s open-air bath, and the service were all excellent. We were able to fully enjoy a special getaway and relax at our own pace. We would love to visit again!

The staff included both Japanese and international team members, and everyone treated each guest with great care, making my stay truly pleasant.The Room provided a relaxing environment, and I was very satisfied with the Room that had a private open-air bath.The food was excellent—especially the Tochigi wagyu beef—and I found the breakfast to be outstanding.If I had to mention one thing, I would have appreciated slightly faster service when dishes were being served. It became a wonderful anniversary memory. Thank you very much.

We use fresh ingredients such as seasonal vegetables from Tochigi, the renowned Tochigi Wagyu beef known for its exceptional quality, and yuba, a local specialty. Additionally, seafood is sourced through a special route from the fishing ports of Boso, a seafood kingdom. Unique hospitality of a small property. Carefully selected ingredients from the mountains and sea of the season are the hallmark of our hospitality.
A spacious public bath where you can stretch out and relax. The sunlight streaming through the symbolic Tsuga tree and the warmth of the wood create a pleasant bathing experience. Surrounding the Tsuga tree is the pristine nature nurtured by the Kinugawa stream. Enjoy a tranquil moment, conversing with the seasons in the flowing silence.
