At a Property with 5 rooms overlooking Kannami Lake, enjoy the comforting taste of hometown flavors.
"Akane Saian Sansui," a culinary-focused accommodation overlooking Lake Kannako, is located about 40 minutes from Nagatoro in Saitama Prefecture. Enjoy stunning lakeside views from five rooms, including those with semi-open-air baths. Relax in private dining spaces or the spacious private semi-open-air bath. We warmly welcome you with monthly seasonal dishes crafted with care and fresh ingredients.
Everything felt gentle and welcoming, like coming home. The food and the warm hospitality made it feel as if we were being told, “Relax and take your time” (not literally), and it was an Accommodation where we could truly unwind. Also, at night, when we turned off the lights and looked outside, we could see an incredible number of stars. Because it was so dark with hardly any light—especially in contrast to the lake—the starlight looked even brighter, creating a wonderful view. The sake we had with dinner was also a rare local variety from Gunma. There were plenty of spring flavors as well, and we left completely full. I think this is an Accommodation where you can enjoy each season through both the meals and the scenery. Next time, I’ll visit again in a different season.
あかまきがみあおまきがみ... 3/28/2026This is my third stay, and I had a very pleasant experience. The carefully prepared meals, the view from the room, and the relaxing bath were all wonderful. I enjoyed soaking in the bath twice, in the evening and morning, which was very soothing. I look forward to visiting again. It seems to be an accommodation with many repeat guests.

Introduction of the Accommodation

Room: Japanese Serenity Overlooking Kannako Lake
We offer five types of Rooms, including ones with a semi-open-air bath.

We offer a large public bath, private baths, and a private semi-open-air bath that was newly established in July 2012. The baths use pure spring water sourced from nearby mountains. While it is not Onsen water, the high-purity "soft water" is heated to provide you with a gentle and smooth bathing experience. *Please note that this is not an Onsen.*

A rich and unique culinary experience crafted by our head chef, blending traditional local cuisine with creative combinations of Japanese and Western flavors. We take pride in using ingredients sourced within a ten-ri radius, offering a monthly changing menu.
