As you pass through the exclusive gate of Shikisai, a special space unfolds. Enjoy a private open-air bath in your room, allowing you to relax without any worries. The traditional Japanese garden features a private tea lounge where you can fully enjoy the four seasons of Tateyama. Spend a luxurious moment at Shikisai.
We stayed in the Shikisai Room. It started raining in the afternoon, but the Room was equipped with umbrellas, rain boots, and a long down coat, so we were able to get around without any trouble. The Onsen in the Room was also wonderful, and everything we needed was provided—we really felt the thoughtful attention to guests’ comfort. We have stayed here several times, and it is always pleasant; it makes us want to come back again.

My skin felt silky smooth and my body warmed up thoroughly. The Room layout was practical and well designed, and it was kept very clean. We could also park right next to the entrance, making it easy to head out quickly. We would definitely like to come again next year.

Villa Shikisai Room Example
Tateyama Villa "Shikisai" is surrounded by a range of mountains. Passing through the exclusive gate, you will find detached Rooms scattered throughout the grounds, resembling a Japanese garden. Nestled within the garden are 11 Rooms in total. There are four types of Rooms, each with different bath designs and interiors, such as cypress baths and ceramic baths. From the terrace or open-air bath of each Room, you can enjoy a view of the surrounding mountains beyond your private garden, experiencing supreme relaxation without any disturbance.

This playground provides relaxation effects similar to forest bathing, and the texture and warmth of the material stimulate the senses, nurturing rich sensitivity. Since it is indoors, you can enjoy it regardless of the weather.
