A small island beyond the harbor. The Yagijima Hotel Amami is located in a private space surrounded by the sea. Only the sounds of waves and the rustling of trees in the wind can be heard—take a moment to forget your daily life and enjoy the tranquility.
This was my first time visiting Amami Oshima, my grandparents’ hometown.The surroundings were quiet, the goats were soothing, the food was delicious, and the Room was clean—an extremely satisfying Hotel.They even upgraded our Room, and I’m truly grateful.We also enjoyed a beautiful ocean view from the Room.When I visit Amami Oshima again, I would definitely like to stay at this Hotel.It became a wonderful memory.
チャイココア 2/23/2026My first solo trip to Amami Oshima for 3 days and 2 nights was unforgettable, and choosing this Hotel was absolutely the right decision. The Room was even more beautiful than in the photos, with a stunning view of the sea and Naze Port (where a cruise ship was docked) from the balcony. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Dinner, especially the Japanese meal on the second night featuring sashimi, local vegetables, and fish dishes, was incredibly delicious. I also thoroughly enjoyed the island cuisine served at breakfast. The open-air bath on the top floor was fantastic; I used it multiple times. The gelato there was also delightful! I loved seeing the adorable chubby goats with their kids and ended up buying a T-shirt from the shop as a souvenir. If I have another chance to visit Amami, I would definitely stay here again!

The entire 5th floor, the topmost level, is a bathing space. Guests staying at the property can use it free of charge. All bathtubs offer ocean views, with stunning vistas of Naze city during the day and beautiful nightscapes in the evening, providing a relaxing environment throughout the day.
