    This time, I chose a different room, and each has its own unique charm, which was very satisfying. The name "Kaze no Mori" truly lives up to the word "wonderful." Not only the room but also the lounge and dining area reflect thoughtful attention to detail throughout. The only minor point, as I mentioned last time, is that being close to the highway means you can occasionally hear cars passing by. However, even with that, it remains a truly relaxing space. I hope it doesn't become too famous and affect the quality of this accommodation.

  • The Star Room is highly recommended.

    I had trouble choosing a Room, but I’m glad I chose Hoshi. It’s located at the very back and at the highest point, and it felt more private than the other Rooms. The Onsen water felt like toner, so I went in many times. However, perhaps because the highway is nearby, the sound of cars carried more than I expected—that was the only unexpected part. Still, they said this Room is at the very back, so it’s one of the quieter ones.The lounge was also closer than I expected, and I used it several times. Thank you very much.

11 rooms with unique open-air baths. Oku-Takeo Onsen features "pure sodium bicarbonate spring," known for its silky texture and skin-beautifying effects. While the water is not free-flowing, it is completely replaced daily and maintained at an optimal temperature through a circulation system, allowing you to enjoy it anytime during your stay.

The venue is a private dining room in the main building. Dinner features a creative fusion Kaiseki meal with fresh seafood and Saga Wagyu beef, themed "Dishes That Inspire Delight." Breakfast includes Japanese cuisine, featuring freshly cooked Saga rice in Nambu ironware paired with onsen yudofu made using our own natural hot spring water. We accommodate allergies and dietary restrictions, so please inform us when making your reservation.

  • About the Private Sauna

    Thank you for choosing Okutakeo Onsen Kaze no Mori.

    In January 2025, our private sauna, “Kagami no Sauna,” opened.
    This is a private sauna for two adults only, surrounded by forest.

    The sauna can be reserved exclusively for 90 minutes at JPY 7,700.
    Available time slots are as follows:
    1, 15:30–17:00
    2, 20:00–21:30 (Dinner fixed at 18:00)
    3, 22:30–24:00
    4, Next day 6:00–7:30
    5, Next day 8:00–9:30 (Breakfast fixed at 10:00)
    6, Next day 10:00–11:30 (Breakfast fixed at 9:00)

    If you would like to use the sauna, please let us know when making your Reservation.
    Please note that depending on Reservation availability, we may not be able to accommodate your preferred time slot.
