The surprise sake cup and mizuhiki during dinner moved me to tears.Our 21st wedding anniversary became the best day we’ve ever had. Thank you so much. Next time, we’d love to visit with the whole family!I gave the bath 4 stars because, perhaps for security reasons, the panel facing the sea was slightly darkened, making it hard to see the ocean—this was a bit disappointing. That said, the Room was spotless and very clean, and all of the staff were wonderful people, so we had a truly great trip.Thank you again.

The tableware was also wonderful—exactly my style.I was happy to be able to enjoy coffee anytime.I was surprised that I could watch Netflix.I was especially glad I could watch the WBC at just the right time.Next time, I’m thinking of a Multiple Night Stay—this Ryokan made me feel confident they would prepare delicious dishes even for two days in a row.

Our rooms offer a serene space that combines traditional Japanese charm with modern comfort. To suit your travel style, the main building features Standard Japanese-style Rooms, Atago-an Rooms with private bathrooms, and Special Rooms. In our newly opened annex, we offer two distinct types of accommodations. Choose from a variety of meticulously designed rooms to match your preferences.
Sauna
Our facility offers not only relaxation in the Onsen but also a fully equipped sauna. Enjoy refreshing yourself by sweating out daily fatigue in a sauna with optimal temperature and humidity. After the sauna, cool down with a cold water bath or outdoor air bath to enhance blood circulation and detox effects. This facility is designed to satisfy health-conscious guests as well.

| About Hygiene Measures | At Houraiya, starting June 1, we will implement the following infection prevention measures in accordance with the new coronavirus response guidelines for accommodations.

Measures Within the Facility:
- All staff will undergo health checks upon reporting to work and practice regular hand sanitization.
- All staff will wear masks.
- Staff are instructed to maintain social distancing where possible.
- Alcohol-based sanitizers are provided in all guest rooms.
- Shared areas will be regularly disinfected.
- Ventilation in shared areas and used guest rooms will be thoroughly maintained.
- Business partners are requested to wear masks and adhere to strict hygiene management practices.
Check-In:
- Temporary suspension of car relocation services and key holding services.
- Guests are requested to unload passengers or luggage at the entrance.
