At Nishiyama Onsen Keiunkan, a Property featuring an all-onsen flow system, you can fully enjoy the hot spring discovered in the year Keiun 2 (705 AD), as well as the new onsen water, yielding over 1,630 liters per minute, excavated in celebration of 1,300 years since its opening. From the bath in your Room to the hot water supply, everything is sourced directly from the onsen. All the onsen baths are pure and untouched, with a source temperature exceeding 52 degrees Celsius, allowing you to experience the high-quality onsen without any added water or heating. The panoramic bath on the top floor features a hinoki (Japanese cypress) bath with a soothing wooden aroma and a stone bath that glimmers uniquely with the flowing water. Indulge in the luxury of gazing at the breathtaking panorama of nature as if you could reach out and touch it. Additionally, the open-air bath overlooking the pristine beauty of the Hayakawa Valley offers a refreshing experience with the cool breeze. There are also private open-air baths available for exclusive use, expanding the joy of bathing. All baths are accessible 24 hours a day, allowing you to enjoy them at any time you prefer. When I visited previously, it was for a company event so I don’t remember much, but this time the Facility had just been renovated and I had a very comfortable stay. The Room service staff were attentive, and I was able to enjoy mealtimes pleasantly as well. Above all, the quality of the Onsen and the layout of the baths were excellent—I left wishing I could have stayed for several days, as one day felt far too short. Thank you very much for your hospitality.
習 近平 3/31/2026This was an Accommodation I’d wanted to stay at for a long time, so we visited after its renovation to celebrate an anniversary.It was deep in the mountains and quite far, but the Onsen, meals, and Room were all excellent.They upgraded our Room, and we were able to relax with in-room dining.The Onsen was not crowded and felt just right; we enjoyed the mountain views and the pleasure of having nothing around.On the way home, we stopped by Minobusan Kuonji Temple to see its 400-year-old weeping cherry tree before heading back.It was a wonderful trip.

The main Rooms are spacious with a size of 12 tatami mats, designed in a serene and elegant Japanese style. All the furnishings exude the spirit of Japanese tradition. The luxurious and artistically crafted space offers a sense of relaxation. From the windows, you can enjoy the view of the Kai mountain range resembling a landscape painting, and from any Room, you can admire the beautiful scenery of the Hayakawa and Yukawa valleys.
The Onsen discovered in 705 AD (Keiun 2nd year), along with the new spring water excavated to commemorate the 1300th anniversary of its opening, flowing at over 1,630 liters per minute, can be fully enjoyed in the Room's bath and hot water supply. The pure spring water, without heating or dilution, has high alkalinity and excellent skin-beautifying effects. When consumed, it is highly effective for stomach ailments, diabetes, high blood pressure, and constipation.
