Urakawa Yushun Village AERU
Hokkaido/UrakawaA resort offering the charm of the Hidaka Mountain Range's lush natural scenery, where you can interact with horses.
A tranquil village in Urahoro, where horses and nature come together. Spanning an area equivalent to 23 Tokyo Domes, it offers activities such as horseback riding, park golf, and walking skiing. Enjoy a relaxing time with your family amidst rich nature. Inside, there are seven types of panoramic baths and saunas overlooking the Hidaka mountain range. After unwinding, savor delicious dishes made from fresh local seafood.
This accommodation is ideal for a trip exploring horse breeding regions. However, this was my third stay, and I noticed a significant decline in the quality of dinner. Two years ago, it was a set menu focused on Japanese cuisine. Last year and this time, it was a buffet; however, this time the menu seemed to mainly consist of pre-made commercial ingredients with no local touch. The temperature management of the food was also poor, which left me disappointed. While I understand that it may be challenging during the busy Golden Week period, I hope for improvements in the future.
さくこいたろう 5/5/2025I visited from Tokyo for sightseeing. A short drive will take you to the sea. At Yushun Village, you can feed carrots to horses and see retired horses up close. The bath was good, and locals were also using it. The building has a historical feel, but it was well-cleaned, and the garden was well-maintained, which was soothing.
