Established 440 years ago. A traditional Ryokan where you can enjoy the renowned golden and silver Onsen of Ikaho.

Founded 440 years ago. Our open-air bath, offering sweeping views of the mountain range from the upper floors, is a highlight unique to our Accommodation. We also offer three private baths and a wide variety of guest rooms with distinct styles. In Ikaho, we are one of the few hot spring Accommodations where you can enjoy two types of waters: “Kodakara-no-Yu,” traditionally said to be beneficial for women; “Kogane-no-Yu” (Golden Hot Spring), said to be good for recuperation; and “Shirogane-no-Yu” (Silver Hot Spring), said to promote health. Please enjoy our hospitality and cuisine, refined over many years, for a truly memorable stay.

  • I had often used this property for year-end parties and similar events, but this was my first time staying as an individual guest. The meals and the Onsen were excellent, and the breakfast buffet in particular had a well-designed layout to prevent lines from forming. The Onsen is spacious and very clean. Most guests were calm and respectful, so I was able to spend a peaceful stay. It also felt like the service had improved. However, the Facility shows significant aging, and the sink drain in the guest Room did not work well—the water continued not to drain properly. This can be very stressful for guests, so I hope it will be improved. Also, the chairs in the Room with a garden were hard and not comfortable to relax in.

  • It was a wonderful accommodation. We visited as a family. We were very satisfied with the room, the bath, the meals, and the staff's hospitality. The drink service was also delightful.
