The venue of the Ise-Shima Summit. A traditional classic Resort Hotel

A Resort Hotel nestled in lush green mountains and floating on the serene Ago Bay. Since its opening in 1951, it has welcomed numerous distinguished guests, including Emperor Showa. The expansive grounds, including "The Classic" and "The Club" designed by Togo Murano, a renowned architect of the Showa era, have been gently preserved within the natural beauty of Ise-Shima National Park, continuing to mark the passage of time. Relaxing guest rooms that embrace the warmth of wood and the nature of Shima, and dinners featuring the traditional "Seafood French Cuisine" to savor the bounties of the abundant sea. A guest lounge overlooking the beautiful inlets of Ago Bay. We welcome you with the warm hospitality and the stunning scenery often referred to as the original landscape of Japan.

  • We stayed here for my son and his wife’s honeymoon. The 6:00 PM dinner slot was not available at first, but they kindly changed it for us when an opening came up on the day. They also prepared a surprise message plate, which truly moved the couple. They said both the meals and the lounge were excellent. They also enjoyed the Ago Bay cruise the next day, and it seems it became a wonderful memory for them. Thank you very much.

  • This was my first stay here. Everything was perfect—from the drinks and light snacks in the lounge, to the high-quality Room amenities, the restaurant meals, and the service from welcome to farewell. It truly lived up to being selected as a G7 Summit venue. Although I couldn’t initially secure my preferred dinner time at the restaurant, they ultimately arranged a Reservation for my requested time. We had a great window-side seat with a beautiful view, and above all, the course meal was outstanding. Most of all, each staff member’s responses and smiles were wonderful. They addressed every request accurately and thoughtfully. It’s a place I’d want to visit every day. Since I live in the Kanto area, I won’t be able to come often, but whenever I visit Ise-Shima for sightseeing, I will definitely stay here again. Thank you in advance—I look forward to returning.
