I stayed in a room with a bed. It felt a bit small, but it was no problem as I fully enjoyed the Onsen. The mixed-gender open-air bath was comfortable since yukatas were provided, though the wooden sandals could be slippery if you didn’t dry your feet well. The large public bath was also very pleasant. The dried fish "Mekabu" served at dinner was rich and delicious, and the miso that came with the horse sashimi was amazing—it even paired well with steak! Everything was incredibly tasty and satisfying. The only disappointment was that the batter on the Mekabu tempura was too hard. The staff's thoughtful hospitality made for a very pleasant trip overall!

At the same time, subtle care can be felt in the well-maintained garden and the flowers displayed here and there, offering an escape from the ordinary. The meals are satisfying in both quality and quantity. The rating of 4 is closer to a 4.5 evaluation.
