Nishitetsu Grand Hotel Earns Eco-Certification "Sakura Quality An ESG Practice"
● Nishitetsu Grand Hotel, operated by Nishitetsu Hotels Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City; President: Tatsuya Toyofuku), has achieved the "3 Gyoikou Zakura" rating, equivalent to a three-star grade under the international certification system "Sakura Quality An ESG Practice" (commonly known as "Sakura Quality Green"), as a sustainable accommodation on October 24, 2025.
● This certification is an ESG international accreditation system originating in Japan and approved by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC), which establishes and manages global standards for sustainable tourism. It evaluates accommodations based on 172 rigorous criteria aligned with the 17 SDGs goals, including community engagement, cultural preservation, and environmental initiatives.
