Sixty-three years ago, I left Oita and worked on construction projects across Japan. This time, my older brother passed away, and I was to attend his funeral. Hoping to ease my grief even a little, I looked for a Hotel for one night and found the JAL Oita Hotel. Without hesitation, I made a Reservation for the Room that felt best to me.It was exactly what I had hoped for. Although I woke up from time to time, I was able to rest well, and the next day I attended the funeral feeling calm and comfortable, seeing my brother off in peace.I spent a truly pleasant night at this Hotel operated by JAL—just as I had trusted it would be.I will be working for some time longer, but when traveling in the future, I plan to stay at JAL Group Hotels.
