It was my first time back in Fukuoka in three years. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t great, but it was very helpful to be able to borrow an umbrella from the Hotel. Check-in and check-out were easy, and having staff nearby made me feel at ease. The building is a bit old, but the location is truly convenient for getting anywhere. I’ll stay here again next time.
淵脇 4/3/2026Now that our child-rearing days have settled down, my husband and I have been traveling more often.This time, we visited Hakata for the first time in 30 years.We chose this Hotel because of its great location and the reassurance of the Tokyu brand.The Room was clean and uncluttered, with nothing unnecessary, and we were able to stay very comfortably.At the breakfast buffet, we enjoyed sea bream rice chazuke, spicy mentaiko, Yame tea pudding, and smoothies. We had planned to eat around town, but everything was so delicious here that we were completely satisfied. Of course, after that we still enjoyed plenty of Hakata gourmet food.Please be careful when opening the window—I pinched my finger (there was a warning sign not to do so).Because the closet is close to the bathroom area and opening/closing it feels tight, it would have been nice if there were some improvements to the closet door design.Even after using spray, I struggled with lingering tonkotsu ramen odors; it would have been better if ventilation were a bit more open.The tabletop mirror is attached to a tissue box type holder; it’s small and not very convenient. A wall-mounted mirror would be easier to use.Since this is not a Resort Hotel I don’t want to ask for too much, but all the essentials were provided. I was also worried about the shampoo and conditioner beforehand, but they left my hair smooth and silky.Nakasu, Tenjin, and Hakata are all within walking distance, and with the station nearby it was easy to get to Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine as well.Thank you for taking care of us.We would love to stay again.
