I stayed during the New Year holidays. It was a lovely hotel with a great atmosphere. I heard it will be temporarily closed for renovations. I look forward to visiting again once it's renewed.
I stayed for one night to celebrate my mother's birthday. The front desk offered complimentary coffee and snacks. The room's balcony had an ocean view with a visible horizon, providing a stunning scenery (even though the weather wasn't great, it was still amazing). Both dinner and breakfast were delicious and very satisfying. The filet steak at dinner and the omelet at breakfast were so tender that they left a lasting impression. The Onsen included one bath, a steam sauna, and a regular sauna. There were about three or four washing stations available. It’s not very spacious, and the usage alternates between men and women depending on the time slot—some slots include saunas while others do not—so I recommend checking the schedule if you want to use the sauna. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay; however, there were some minor concerns: first, the room felt overly dry which was slightly uncomfortable. It also felt warm as if heating was on (though it wasn’t), making it mysteriously warm yet very dry inside. I managed by using the humidifier in the room or opening windows occasionally to adjust it somewhat.Additionally, the in-room loungewear seemed quite small in size—about an S size—and even at 163cm tall myself, it felt too short for me to wear comfortably; some people might find it unsuitable depending on their body type.Despite these small issues mentioned above towards the end of this review, everything else including atmosphere, food quality, and staff hospitality was excellent! Since I heard there will be renovations soon—I’d love to visit again someday!

La Classe de Chênega will be temporarily closed for approximately six months starting January 6, 2026, to create an even more comfortable space for our guests.
